Hi forum-- I'm working with multitemporal ASTER data to evaluate land-use change over about 10 years (I have around 10 images). I'm using a spatial subset of a region common to all 10 images--and using these subset images as my base BIL images for FLAASH. My question: is the central coordinate still the one for the full granule, or should I use the center of the subset image? I assume it's the first one--just want to make sure (I'm an archaeologist and not a remote sensing specialist!) I suppose the same question applies for elevation, etc--it's the elevation of the full ASTER granule--not just my subset image, correct? Thanks in advance-- Steve

Yes, I would use the full scene center as it was viewed from the sensor. You can use an average scene elevation as well.
