idl crashes without any warnings

    Hi I am using IDL 8.1. Since the begining of january 2014, my idl environment crashed without any reasons (It just close my workbench and i have to open my project again). I am working with IDL all the day and i have this trouble about 10 times per days. I never had this trouble in 2013.... Is there an update to do to avoid this trouble Thanks a lot Aurélien Boulben Xeosimaging

    IDL 8.3 was released so you could try the updated version. You might also try removing the .idl and IDLWorkspace81 from your home directory and then relaunch IDL which will then recreate the directories. These contain many configuration files that can sometimes conflict or be corrupted and cause errors.
