Ribbon tool bar in IDL 8.x

    Is there any way to create a Ribbon tool bar - instead of a the old styled menu bar - in IDL 8.x as it is often used in MS office 2007 or other software?

    As far as I know, there is not built in way to make a ribbon toolbar with IDL widgets or with the IDL workbench. I have filed a feature request for this feature. I'm sorry I don't have better news.
