Hi, probably these below could seem strange questions but I'm a beginner.. so any help would be useful. 1-When I import my SPOT VGT image (bands blu, red, NIR and SWIR) and for example i visualize the statistics, or the z profile, I cannot see the wavelenghts but just the number of the bands (1,2,3...). Do I forget to do something? 2- If I have to compare two images( e.g. one vegetation Index of two different images) acquired from two different sensors at two different resolutions, the first step is have the two image at the same resolution, so I have to resize the images, then i need to register the two images in the same coordinate system, that means I have to do a registration Image to image??and then how can I perform the comparison ? Sorry for the long text. Thanks a lot.

    1. If the images are an ENVI format edit the header file (using a text editor) to include wavelengths info. Or edit the header file using ENVI, which would be an easier method. http://www.exelisvis.com/...ENVIHeaderFiles.html http://www.exelisvis.com/...formation.html#Edit2 2. The simplest method would be to take the difference between the two images. But that will rely upon having the exact same image dimensions, and it would only make sense to do so if the pixels are geo-referenced exactly. ENVI's layer stacking method might get you there. It will determine the overlap, and re-sample as necessary. Essentially this is just a change detection workflow, which ENVI have a built-in tool for that. http://www.exelisvis.com/...ChangeDetection.html Hope that helps Cheers Josh
