I'm relatively new in the IDL world...but was wondering if I can gain some help in this forum. I have satellite data in NetCDF format, and am able to display these images. My problem is overlaying gridded winds on top of that satellite data. Do any you guys have any suggestions? Thank you very much. Chris

Hi, i have a IDL 6.2 and envi 4.2 version and i have been tryin to view netcdf files in envi so that i can change it s map projections but so far i have not even able to view the image since each time i mess up trying to edit the header info. can u tell me gow have u have done it
