Hi, I need help. I have an image composed of two bands, and I need to understand the relation between the values in the two bands. Due to this I used the tool " 2D scatter plots"... now my point is that I need to import this scatter plot to execute some statistical analysis ( e.g. an excel spreadsheet). Is there a way to do this? ..( i have seen I can save it as an image, but that's not enough for my analysis) I tried also to use the statistic on both the bands, but in that case, not having the coordinates for each pixel, I can' t plot the data correctly ( said in different words .. I can' t understand which are the x (band 1) and y ( band 2 ) values corresponding to the same pixel (coordinate) to plot this directly in excel. I don t know if it s clear. Can you help me with this issue?? Thanks a lot. Elena

What statistical analysis do you need to do? The relationship between the 2 bands can be explained by ticking the covariance box when computing statistics on the whole image. You'll get the covariance and correlation between the two bands. Generally the 2D scatter plots will not be drawn from the entire image, only a subset will be used. If you really really really want to use Excel, then your best bet would be to save the image as an ascii file. Hope that helps Josh
