When I run idlde (8.3) with the hot fix under Linux. The DE shows up and then crashes with this error message in the terminal: # Problematic frame: # C [libpthread.so.0+0x10eb8] __lll_unlock_elision+0x18 I am running Arch Linux which tends to run the latest packages and that library is linked to glibc. IDL works normally otherwise. Any suggestions?

Hi Nabil, Try renaming the following idl library: mv /usr/local/exelis/idl8.3/bin/bin.linux.x86_64/gl_driver.so /usr/local/exelis/idl8.3/bin/bin.linux.x86_64/gl_driver.so.back Then, try starting IDLDE again. Does that help? Cheers, Fernando
