Hi all I ran the landsat 7 gap fill extension (http://www.exelisvis.com/...M-SLC-off-data.aspx) on the landsat 7 data. However i noticed that the output .TIF file does not have 'dimensions' attached to it. When I renamed the file (.TIF) and tried to re-load it back into ENVI, it says it is not recognized as a standard format. However, it loads fine if I do not change the name of the output file. This is what I mean: In Windows Explorer, when you single click the original landsat 7 tiff file (any file), it shows 'Dimensions: 8101 x 7091' at the bottom of the window. However, when you do the same for the output file from the gapfill process, it is empty. This can also be seen if you look into its properties, under the Image information, its completely empty. Anyone knows how to rectify this issue? Thanks! Corse

You cannot create a TIFF file from this process. It will only output an ENVI format file (binary with .hdr) even if you set the extension to '.tif'. This is true of most of ENVI Classic processes. To save the file as TIFF, you need to use File->Save As.

Dear MariM Oh i see, in this case, what should be the extension of the output that I should save as, prior to saving the file as TIFF using the File->Save As?

For ENVI format files, it does not matter (it is not a requirement to have one) but I typically use .dat or .img.
