Hi I have a set of Aster 1b images that I have corrected using quac, layer stacked and mosaicked. In the data manager after the Quac and layer stacking the bands are still refered to as Aster bands - for example - Layer (QUAC(Aster VNIR Band2:Prdat011.dat)etc. However I not note that after I have mosaicked the images they are not called aster bands anymore - for example Band1 (0.5560). I know that there is no need to convert aster 1b data to radiance because envi does it automatically but for the mosaicked bands does Envi now not think they are Aster images therefore do I now need to convert them to radiance? You assistance is much appreciated thank you. Alison

When you Layer Stack images, ENVI will convert the data to ENVI format so they will not be referred to as 'ASTER' data any longer. However, the radiance values should be retained in the Layer Stack. You can compare the layer stack band to the original to confirm this.
