Dear All; I am intending to create Spatial Profile that would extract the raster values underlying the polyline. I have found that there is a tool namely 'Arbitary Profile (Transect) that has been provided in ENVI 5.2 SP1 facilitates the user to generate such profiles. However, I am using ENVI 5.0 where I tried rigorously but didn't found such tool in it.

Hello, The ENVI 5.0 application does not have the arbitrary transect tool yet, but you do have access to the ENVI Classic application, which does provide this tool. If you're on a Windows operating system, look under the Start menu > Programs > ENVI 5.0 > Tools > ENVI Classic. Open the image in ENVI Classic, then display the image using the Available Bands List. You should see a three-window display group. Under the display group menu bar, select Tools > Profiles > Arbitrary Profile (Transect).
