    How to generate density map from lidar data ...can it be done using ENVI or any other tool. I read somewhere about E3Dm but not able to find this software. Please suggest any method or tool to generate it and output it in tiff format.

    ENVI Lidar is the tool you would want to use to view lidar point clouds and generate density maps. It is available for installation from the ENVI 5.2 suite installer.
