I am trying install license to my IDL 8.5 on my macbook pro. Then the following error happened. FLEXnet error: -96,7. System Error:2 "No such file or directory" I tried many ways and many times to make sure the manager works well. http://www.exelisvis.com/...cleID/4097/4097.aspx I got help from the website above and follow the instruction. Then it works. But the problem is, while I changed the IP, like change from office to home, it runs into error again. What should I do?

Hello, One thing you could try would be to use the string: this_host in place of the hostname or IP address on the SERVER line. This may allow the license manager to start against the different IP addresses, as long as the lmhostid value (network card MAC address) in the SERVER line doesn't change. However, if the lmhostid value changes from home (using WiFi versus wired ethernet) then if you have a single user node-locked (SN) license and you have current maintenance on your license, you may wish to contact your local Exelis VIS office or distributor to see if your license file can be built without the need to run the license manager service. I hope this will be helpful. Regards,
