Hi, When I try to save an ENVI image as tiff (geotiff) file and the image is bigger (say 500 mb) the software shows an error message. It is something like "....can't allocate memory for the array, result may be invalid....". Whay is that and is there a way to fix it. Images around 150 mb are save ok. I use ENVI 4.2 Thanks, Vasil

Hi, I am able to display the same image when values are integer, But when I try to display same image with float values (say of size 170 mb) the software shows an error message. It is something like "....can't allocate memory for the array, result may be invalid....". Whay is that and is there a way to fix it. I use IDL5.5. Thanks, Devendra Singh
