    Hello, I have an evaluation of IDL62 and somehow cannot use the Online help. I have looked at the previous posts about this and followed the suggestions given by the tech support, but my online help is still not accessible. When I double click on any topic, I get an error message similar to this: 'E:/RSI/IDL62/help/online_help/TVSCL.html#wp1076589' I installed in the C: drive, and when I do: help,/preferences, my IDL_DIR is DEFAULT= 'C\RSI|IDL62' and IDL_HELP_PATH is USERFILE='C\RSI\IDL62\help\online_help' Any suggestions? thanks! radha

    You can try the following: - Go to c:\documents and settings\user where "user" is the Windows account under which you are using IDL - Find the ".idl" and ".assistant" folders within that user folder and delete them. - Restart IDL You'll be asked if you want to migrate preferences. Say no. Then start the Online Help.
