    Hello everyone,

    I have an issue regarding the IDL of ENVI. I apply MNF to spectra in order to resample my spectral library and then to insert those data to the environment of IDL. The error that occurs after the procedure of IDL refers to: Import spectra: an error has occurred during processing error variable is undefined: Y. The result may be invalid. I don't know how to solve it because it relates to the y-axis for which it doesn't recognize the variable. Any suggestion? Thank you very much in advance!

    I am not sure I understand your workflow. Can you do a print in the variable you import to IDL, then another on the variable you are trying to export for spectra?
    Spectra are stored as a one band array in ENVI where the samples are the wavelengths and the lines are the different materials, so samples x lines x 1. If you had to reorganize the array in IDL to perform your analysis, you will need to use REFORM to get the array into the form above to import it as a spectral library.

    Try importing your data as discussed here in the help:
    http://www.harrisgeospati...Transform.html#Apply

    Your 'data' is not a raster of num_samples x num_lines x 1 band.. I would use Build Spectral library to import your text files to create a spectral library and then apply the forward MNF.

    No, it wasn't successful.. I think that a part is missing regarding the resampling of my spectral signatures with the MNF bands. I am not sure! I will try it again and I will repost for the right results!
