Hi: I have an active, albeit old IDL License with 8.6.1 installed on an older computer running Sierra (OS 10.12). On my account, I also see 8.7 as a listed potential 'add on', although I do not see a download link. Questions: - if I upgrade my OS to Mojave (10.14), will IDL break? (i.e. is 8.6.1 incompatible with Mojave?) - Is 8.7 compatible with Mojave?

Supported platforms for various versions of IDL can be found here: https://www.l3harrisgeospatial.com/Support/Self-Help-Tools/Help-Articles/Help-Articles-Detail/ArtMID/10220/ArticleID/18488/Platform-and-Feature-Support-for-Current-and-Previous-Versions There is a chance your IDL license will break when upgrading the OS unfortunately. We recommend keeping your Maintenance current to deal with issues that arise from OS and IDL updates. IDl 8.6 is not supported on Mojave, but IDL 8.7.3 is.
