problem with idl64 install on power mac

    I double click the install icon in the idl64 folder and get an install error that says Can't make > of alias "jhcooley:Desktop:idl64mac:Install.app" into type string. Any sugestions?

    James, There is a special forum for you and other IDL DE Tech Preview testers that might be easiest to access by bookmarking http://www.ittvis.com/for...h.asp?urlCategory=98 [Note: this worked on IE for Windows and Safari for Mac, but failed on Netscape for Windows! ... and it only works for authorized members of the IDL DE Tech Preview tester group.] In any case, I copied this issue to that group, and you can find the first response there.
