Project Manager / Scrum Master (Boulder, CO)
We have an exciting opportunity for a certified and experienced Scrum Master to join our Software Engineering team. As a Scrum Master, you will provide guidance on team activities through leadership and support toward project/team goals. The Scrum Master performs a variety of project tasks such as updating burn-down charts, generating metrics reports, and facilitating meetings (sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives) as well as coordinating and communicating across groups to provide on-time, quality deliverables that meet customer expectations. Our Scrum Masters are responsible for the integrity of the Scrum Agile process.
What You’ll Do:
Sprint Execution & Reporting

Responsible for time-boxed (2-4 weeks) sprint planning and execution

Anticipate and proactively track, record, remove and escalate impediments.

Facilitate the team in identifying and managing interactivity dependencies within product development.

Facilitate the estimation of product backlog Items and other Scrum activities.
Scrum Leadership

Serve as a mentor and coach for agile methodologies to members of the scrum team, product owner, and other agile project leaders.

Proactively resolve conflicts between people and, if necessary, escalate appropriately.

Enable close cooperation across roles and functions and remove barriers.

Shield team from external interferences during sprints.
What We’re Looking For:
-
Certified Scrum Master; CSP (Certified Scrum Professional) preferred.

Must have experience facilitating multiple scrum teams.

1-3 years experience as a software Project Manager using Agile techniques within a technical environment.

Excellent communication, organizational, oral, written and presentation skills.

Strong interpersonal and cross-team coordination skills.

Experience coaching and mentoring teams and individuals is required, as well as good relationship building skills.

Ability to learn and understand software applications quickly.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
