Senior Programming Consultant, Boulder, CO

We are looking for a highly-motivated, innovative software engineer to work both in the Boulder office and onsite at our business partner office in Aurora, Colorado on a long-term project to design and develop enterprise system and visualization components for a satellite ground control system.

This candidate is a team member with solid software engineering and analysis skills who is comfortable with both Agile and Top Down development processes.  The job requires someone who can quickly pick up domain knowledge and new technologies, participate in reviews and provide effective implementations according to specifications.  High level system design skills are important, as is knowledge of user interface platforms. 

Occasional travel may be required.

***Please note this position requires US citizenship due to contract requirements for the project; active security clearances are a plus.

Among the required minimum skills and qualifications:

• 4+ years’ experience in Java product design, product development,technical product support or consulting, with a high level of expertise &skill on one or more of the following:  Swing; JSF; J2EE/JEE, including EJB; JMS; and message-driven beans
• Experience writing/consuming web services
• Experience developing schema XSD and WSDL
• Experience using WebLogic and Oracle
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
