ERROR: ACTIVATION_ID_COUNT_EXCEEDED

 

This error can occur when activating a server license on a license server. It may look similar to the following:

CAUSE: This error can occur when attempting to activate a server license from a contract which does not have enough available seats to fulfill your activation request. In other words, there are not enough licenses currently available for your specified activation code. 

 

SOLUTIONS: 

  • Deactivate other servers or computers using the specified activation code. If you are attempting to transfer your license to a new computer (also known as a license re-host), you must deactivate the license from the previous computer or server first. 
  • Please contact your license administrator to resolve this issue. If you are the license administrator, you may need to contact Harris Geospatial Solutions Technical Support.
