Description:

When attempting to install the Harris FlexNet License Server on Debian 8, the following error may be encountered:

Cause:

This error can occur if Java version 8 is not yet installed on the system. 

Solution:

To resolve this issue: 

1. Install Java JRE 8
2. Uninstall the Harris FlexNet license server per the instructions in the Harris Install and Administer Flexera License Server Service on Linux documentation.
3. Reinstall the license server service.
