Internal: How to Find Graphics Card Information on Linux

We recently had an incident in which the customer asked us how to find information about his graphics card on his Linux system (Red Hat 5 in his case). We were unable to figure out a reliable way to query the graphics card. This tech tip discusses how the customer finally found his graphics card information.
Discussion:
The customer used the command:

    /sbin/lspci | grep VGA

Which yielded on his machine:

    01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV41GL [Quadro FX 1400] (rev a2)
