I have an image calculated from SAVI (Soil-adjusted Vegetation Index) using MODIS Data. At first, the display shows almost plain white with streaks of grays but generally it is white that you can you cannot distinguish the features. This, apparently, shows some problems with my image. However, when I subset the image using EVF (three location points) the image appears to be not wrong. I am attaching a sample image here. The box indicates the area of interest while the image is the resized area. So, why question is what went wrong that I cannot view my SAVI images as it is and I cannot see the features? Apparently, it contains features but I just don't know how to display them. Thank you.
