hello,
Do you know some method to load MOD05 Level 2 images directly We want to georeference the images in UTM or Geographic Lon/Lat projection, but we cannot find any tool to do that.
We are using the HEG software to generate tif's, but we are having troubles with some 999 values.
Any ideas

Hi,
I use ENVI's EOS tools such as EOS_SW_OPEN() to deal with ASTER data. All went perfectly. I got the Swath and Fields and then the data array. Well, but I still need the geolocation information to export as Geotiff. However I canonly find lat and lon using the LonResult = EOS_SW_ReadField( SwathID, GeoArr(0), LonBuf ) function. I cannot find the projection,earth model, or resolution information!
But if I use the envi_file_open routine to use the GUI to do the same thing, it comes with g...

I've tried posting this the the Usenet groups, but haven't seen anything about it yet so I thought I'd try here.
Could somebody please explain what this error means And any possible solutions
I have some code that plots intensities on a map using Contour with an irregular grid, it was working fine about a month ago, but I haven't touched it since. Now when I run the program I get this border sort error when it gets to the Contour command.

LSODE is included iin IDL since 5.1. However the function call and the help entry are not very helpful, i.e. it is not explainend which algortihm is used, stiffness is only mentioned in the cited literature .... In addition not all the options the original LSODE has, including the useful ones, like single-stepping through the integration. I would like to use this integrator,, it seems to be fast but I still have a few questions:
* does someone have experience (good or bad) with this ...

I am still having trouble running IDL and connecting to a C program. However, I have made progress.
I run make_dll and a shareable library is created. Then I run the IDL program and at the first
Call_external I get the following error:
