Hello I created a mosaic of hyperspectral data from multiple flightlines and set the background value to zero for each individual line. Now when I open the virtual mosaic, only a few portions of the mosaic actually have spectra - all others have a value of zero. I think what I am asking is how do I include only valid information into the mosaic, while leaving out NaN values? Thanks

Try setting the data value to ignore to 'Nan' instead of 0. You could also try carrying out a full georeferenced mosaic process instead of just a virtual one, again using 'NaN' as the data value to ignore. However, to use NaN in either case, your input data have to be in floating point or double precision.
