    Hello, I use IDL8.0. Let's say I have a=read_ascii(filename) My filename doesn't matter, it's just an ascii file. I get an error: %RA_READ_FROM_TEMPL: Unexpected Error: Keyword TNAME not allowed in call to: DATATYPE. Has anyone seen this error before? Thanks in advance for your help,

    Sounds like there may be another file named 'read_ascii.pro' that has different parameters than the original file provide by IDL....
