Hello! Much time I ask myself why the IAR Reflectance Correction don't allow to use a mask file. Many images have borders and the IAR use the Mean Spectral of all Pixels, so it includes the border and the border have a lot of influence are many pixels (ASTER/LANDSAT)... I think this correction will be better is you only consider the pixels with information.

In the same issue, if you previously edit the envi header and set the ignore value to 0 (for example), this will ignore the borders in a IAR Relfectance correction? could be the way because is not allows to use mask (the Mask button is missing in this tool).

    thanks

I am afraid the IAR tool is fairly old and does not support masks. It also will not use the 'data ignore value' since it is a classic tool. It is best to subset the image so that there are no borders or use another correction method.
