Landsat Images not opening in ENVI 5

    When I tried to upload the MTL document into envi 5 it tell me that it is not a Tiff. I was using landsat 5 to 7 TM. I know I am not doing something wrong because Landsat 8 oli and landsat Mss are working just fine.

    Please help!

    Landsat-8 surface reflectance products (SR) are supported in ENVI 5.5 via the XML files but previous landsat sensors are currently not supported. We do have an open feature request to support them in the future. For now, you can open the TIFF files directly and use Layer Stacking to stack the separate TIFF files into a single multiband ENVI format file.
