Account Manager
The Commercial and Government team plays a pivotal role in providing support to existing customers and identifying new customers of Exelis VIS. As an Account Manager on the team, you will evangelize Exelis VIS tools like ENVI, LiDAR, ESE, and IDL to achieve sales of software and services to new and existing customers within an allocated geographical area and vertical markets. You must be able to balance accurate forecasting and reporting while closing complex deals and generating a pipeline. This position requires you to work out of our Boulder, Colorado office.
Essential Duties:

Meet and exceed quarterly sales quotas

Build and implement a territory plan for target accounts

Organize and conduct sales meetings and technical demonstrations

Consistently and accurately maintain current information in CRM system and effectively communicate customer needs and market developments to the product team

Understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level
Required Skills and Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 5+ years of quota achievement selling software and services solutions

Experience selling Enterprise and Cloud-based software solutions are a plus

Comprehensive understanding of the sales cycle associated with complex sales within the commercial markets

Experience prospecting, identifying, and closing new business opportunities

Proven ability to manage and maintain customer loyalty as well as identify new business opportunities within an existing customer base

Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with very strong presentation skills
Desired Skills:
-
Awareness of GIS Mapping software such as ArcGIS

Awareness of image exploitation tools such as ENVI, SOCET GXP, ERDAS and/or RemoteView
-
Demonstrated experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
