iTools: dropdown menus do not stay open when trying to edit plot properties on Mac OS X

When trying to edit properties from the drop down menus of an iTool, the menu does not stay open for the user to change the selection on Mac OS X 10.2.x. This appears to be resolved in MAC OS X 10.3.x.

To reproduce:

1. Open an itool, ex: iplot, findgen(10)
2. Double click on the plot to bring up the "iPLOT Visualization Browser"
3. Attempt to change the Linestyle or Line Thickness
4. The pull down menu disappears almost instantly.

Workaround (other than upgrading to 10.3.x):
The drop down menu will sometimes stay if you double click and hold the left mouse button as you try to change the selection.

This Help Article is a workaround for CR#31394.
