Remote Connection Manager does not update with changes to ArcGIS® image services

ENVI's Remote Connection Manager may not accurately reflect additions, deletions, or updates to image services that you published using ArcGIS® 10. This is a known issue with ArcGIS Server. Follow these steps:

  1. Type the ArcGIS image service URL into a web browser (for example, http://exampleserver:1234/arcgis/rest/services), and verify that the changes to your image service are not accurately reported there.

  2. Clear the ArcGIS Services Directory cache. See the Esri® article Clearing the ArcGIS Services Directory cache the easy way for details.
