  2. Follow the prompts to install the software.

  3. When the installation is complete, the ImageIQ Licensing Administrator dialog is launched. See the License Activation section below to proceed with licensing the product.

License Activation

  • If you need to manually relaunch the ImageIQ Licensing Administrator dialog, browse to C:\Program Files\NV5\ImageIQxx\x64UI, and then double-click on LicensingAdmin.exe. Administrator privileges are required.

Activate a License Offline

The default method of licensing ImageIQ is offline, node-locked licensing.

The following steps describe how to use the ImageIQ Licensing Administrator tool to activate your license.

  1. Click the Generate Machine Information File button to generate a file named machine_information.dat.

  2. Click the Open Folder button to open the folder where machine_information.dat was saved.

  3. Attach your copy of machine_information.dat file to an email and send it to one of the following addresses, with the subject line “ImageIQ License Request”. If you were provided an ImageIQ license activation code, also include that code with your email.

    • geospatialsupport@nv5.com (U.S.)

    • supporteu@nv5.com (E.U.)

    • Your local sales representative

  4. NV5 Geospatial Solutions or your local vendor will email a license.dat file to you.

  5. Copy the license.dat file to a convenient location on your machine, then relaunch the ImageIQ Licensing Administrator (C:\Program Files\NV5\ImageIQxx\x64UI\LicensingAdmin.exe).

  6. Click the Install License File button, navigate to your saved license.dat file, and then click Open. When activation is complete, you will see the message “Successfully imported license file.”

  7. Click Close to close the dialog.

Activate a License Online
