How to remove NaN From raster.. 3366 1
Started by Deleted User
Hi
I'm a new user of ENVI 4.8
I can't understand how to remove NaN values in a raster ..
I perform the Texture calculation for Rapideye or Sentinel2 data, but when I try to compute ROI Separability The Process stops because there are some NaN in some band..
How con I fix it
Thanks in advance!

batch mode for Reproject Raster 2341 1
Started by Deleted User
I have a set of image cubes with a psuedo geospatial reference (tie points) and base map image with a standard projected coordinate system as a reference. I know I can use the ENVI georectify tool 'Reproject Raster' to convert the cubes to my basemap's coordinate system. Can I run the Reproject Raster tool in a batch mode using an IDL script If not is there a series of commands I can call that would do the same thing

SVM method details 1930 1
Started by Deleted User
I have a few questions about the implementation of thesupervised classification method SVM. I'm trying to run grid search crossvalidation using python scikitlearn in order to identify the optimal C andgamma parameters for the RBF kernel. Here are my specific questions:
1) Can you confirm that SVM_DO_IT is based on the libsvm Ifso, I should be able to use scikitlearn for cross validation since it is alsobased on libsvm.
2) Can you explain the data normalization procedure in moredetail I underst...

IDL & ENVI License Server Security Patch 1947 0
Started by Deleted User
Harris Geospatial Solutions (Exelis VIS) was recently made aware of a security vulnerability in the Flexera FlexNet Publisher technology that is utilized for license management of the IDL & ENVI software products. This security vulnerability applies to all current and older versions of our software and applies to scenarios where a license server is utilized which includes network floating (FL) type licenses and some node-locked (SN) type licenses that use a license manager.
The security vu...

I can't to perform layer stacking tool in ENVI, because the programm give me a message that file must be georeferenced. I don't know which projection must be selected and so on.
P.S. i have two files. The first one is MOD21KM and the second one is MOD03.

Apply forward MNF to Spectra 1831 1
Started by Deleted User
I am using MTMF to match image spectra to library end member spectra.
Hyperspectral Image data is in emissivity, ranging generally from 0.9 to 1. Forward MNF transformation on the image data yields an MNF image with ~10-20 high signal bands, with MNF values ranging from -10 to 10, but most MNF values for the first 20 bands range from -2 to 2. The MNF transformation is very good, it gives very good image discrimination of different materials.
Laboratory spectra are in emissivity, ranging from...

ASTER Level 2 Surface Emissivity Data - Can&39;t open file in ENVI 2172 4
Started by Deleted User
Hello,
We recently obtained a number of Level 2 ASTER scenes from JSS. For each scene, there are three files, all in .DAT format. I had no issues opening the files containing VNIR and SWIR bands, but cannot open the TIR (Surface Emissivity) bands. I am using ENVI 5.3 - and have tried classic, classic (32-bit) and the standard versions. Each time, I receive an error "Problem: An error was encountered reading from this file. Error: Variable is undefined: GAINS"
Any thoughts on ...

Unable to open Landsat 8 downloaded from AWS 5064 2

I have downloaded few scenes of landsat 8 from Amazon Web Services (S3). Datasets are provided in *.TIFF format. When I try to load it in ENVI it asks for header information (Which I believe is that envi is unable to read the format automatically). Though QGIS is able to read this tiff files and once exported from QGIS to tiff then envi reads this files. Is this some kind of bug in dataset format or envi

Help with GCPs for Orthorectification 1716 1
Started by Deleted User
Running v5.1, 64-bit. I am a student working on orthorectifying some imagery in order to mosaic them and subsequently perform a change detection analysis of the entire scene. I ran into some complications early on as the images I received from my research coordinator did not come with any GCPs. When I brought this to their attention, however, they sent me a newer mosaic of the same scene with GCPs on the ground. Are there any steps that I can take to 'extract' the GCPs and associate them with th...

Shape file to ROI in ENVI 5.1: Failed to set property:vertices 3152 2

Hi, I have 3 shape files that are my ROIs which are created based on the ground truth that I collected. Each shape file represents multiple polygons of one type of feature ( forest, agriculture etc.) each. Now I have one raster file(single band). I want to perform some statistical analysis to see the possible relationship. For this I tried to convert shape file to ROI using ENVI 5.1 and it gives me an error "Failed to set Property: Vertices- Must be a 2XN array of numeric data types" C...

Radiometric Calibration of Cirrus band (Landsat 8) 2642 2

Hello guys,
I'm working with Landsat 8 images, trying to create burn indices and consequently severity classes. As such, part of the procedure is preparing the images, which involves creating cloud masks on both PreFire and PostFire images. Now I know the how to go about with that but the problem lies in trying to calibrate the PostFire Cirrus band image to TOA reflectance. I'm getting the following message: 'RadiometricCalibration Failed: Calibration Processing Failed'. I've successfully done t...

Feature Extraction with Example Based Classification 1434 4
Started by Deleted User
I tried FE with example based classification. During the creation of example I remember I have assigned some classes to some segments (I suppose polygons) based on my ground truth. I saved the example file (shape file) and later open it with Arc GIS. The attribute says its a point feature. My guess was it has to be polygon. Where is my concept wrong here. Thanks for the support .

converting ENVI standard to TIFF to use in R 2353 3
Started by Deleted User
Hello,
I need to import images into R in TIFF format to conduct data analyses, but am having trouble converting from ENVI standard to TIFF in ENVI. I open the ENVI standard file in ENVI, go to file and save as and choose TIFF. The file's properties then say it is a TIFF, but I get an error in R, saying that the file is corrupt. What am I doing wrong
Thanks,

Both images are spectrally resampled to match bands, confirm BIL, and same projection. Can anyone help me trouble shoot
