A user reported an issue they are encountering using the cursor command:

    Question:

I am currently using IDL 8.4 in a Windows 10 laptop. For some unknown reason the cursor command does not return the correct values from the graph. However, when I use the cursor command in my old laptop which has an older IDL and runs on ubuntu it reads the data correctly.

I request you to kindly solve this problem. Considering the graphs of IDL are non-interactive in nature when MATLAB and other software's, it is very important to us that we are able to read the data using cursor command correctly.

    Possible Answer:

I tested the cursor function on my Windows 10 machine, and it appears to work properly. Can you please post a small self-contained example that produces the errors you are encountering and a sample of your expected output?
