Hi, I have installed ENVI 4.3 on my computer. Normally I can open up to 7 times the program without any problem, but then, when I want to open images (raster, Landsat images, Sentinel images, Rapideye Images, etc) in ENVI, I have problems because a message appears related to the projections of the images I want to upload (ENVI ERROR: FAILED TO SET PROPERTY. FAILED TO CREATE COORDINATE SYSTEM FORM STRING: PROJCS UTM_ZONE_............). The only solutions I have is to reinstall the software, I've been doing it four times. I need help please!

ENVI 4.3? Can you use a newer version of ENVI?

The version of ENVI you are using (4.3) is too old for these newer data sets that use projection strings that were not supported in ENVI 4.3. Reinstalling the software won't fix this.
You will need to manually enter the projection information and map information for each file and save them to ENVI format. You can do this through the Edit Header ->Edit Attributes tool.
It was sometime around ENVI 4.7 that it switched to using these standard projection strings and the ESRI projection engine.
