Installation in directories with names that contain unicode characters fails

Installation of Exelis VIS products in directories with names that contain unicode characters fails. This Help Article provides a workaround for CR # 31432.

If a username contains a unicode character (for example, é), the installation program may try to create files in that user's home directory and will fail.

The following steps provide a workaround:

1. Change the username to something that does not contain a unicode character.

2. Reinstall the Exelis VIS software.
