It works for Windows systems that have DirectX installed, which is typical in most installations. Launch 'DxDiag' using Start ->Run. Type in 'dxdiag'. You may be prompted to connect to the internet to obtain a Microsoft certification, but it is not necessary. This brings up the DirectX Diagnostic Tool which contains all sorts of system information including the system model, BIOS, processor, memory, DirectX version, display, sound and network device versions. This information can be useful when diagnosing system issues on Windows XP or 7 and can be sent to Exelis VIS technical support. Review on 12/31/2013 MM Please login or register to post comments.
