Installation and License Instructions for OneButton

This help article provides step-by-step instructions to install and license OneButton.

NOTE: OneButton is supported on Windows 7 and Windows 10 only and only with single node-locked licensing.

DOWNLOAD ONEBUTTON

Begin by downloading and installing the latest OneButton version from the linked download page below. You will need to be a registered and verified user of HarrisGeospatial.com to access this webpage.

https://www.harrisgeospatial.com/MyAccount/Downloads.aspx

INSTALL ONEBUTTON

After downloading, run the extracted setup application.

Follow the prompts in the OneButton InstallShield Wizard. Once the Wizard is complete, select "Finish" to complete the installation.

You should now have two icons on your desktop; one for OneButton and another for a Machine signature generator. You installation is now complete.

OBTAIN A LICENSE FILE

To request a license file after your purchase of OneButton, launch the Machine Signature Generator from your Desktop. This will generate a blob of text that you will need to send along to Harris Technical Support at support@harris.com. Please include your purchased OneButton license number in this request.

Once Harris generates the requested license file, they will send it back through an attachment in an email.

Save the attachment locally to your computer and then launch OneButton. A dialog will prompt for the license file that you have received. Browse to import the license file.

Once the license is installed and validated, OneButton will automatically launch and is successfully licensed!
