Offline installation of SVN connectors in IDL
This article proposes a workflow to complete offline installation of the SVN connectors in IDLDE, if you do not have internet access or in case the Eclipse dowload website, for automatic online installation, is down.
This workflow is only valid for IDL 8.8.3 and higher versions. In case it does not work the below workflow can also be considered

- Download the connectors on a working online system. For example
https://community.polarion.com/projects/subversive/download/eclipse/6.0/builds/Subversive-connectors-allplatforms-6.0.4.I20161211-1700.zip
- Unzip the installation file
- Start IDLDE and select Help> Install New Software, then Add
- Select the Local option and move to the unzipped installation folder
- Uncheck the box called “Contact all update sites during install..." – this step is mandatory. If not completed the installation process will try to connect to Eclipse website and willl fail
- Then run the installation
- Restart the IDLDE and enale the SVN connectors: Window > Source Control Tools > Subversion
- You can check if installation completed fine by moving to Window > Preferences > Version Control (Team) > SVN, then select the SVN Connector tab: tit should list the SVN Connector in the right part
