Problem with NDVI 1507 3

Hi everybody
I calculated NDVI for pan sharpening with 2.5 meter resolution by ENVI, but I saw some part of NDVI image had high value. These part was soil no vegetation on the Pansherpening image. This is a big question I don't know why this processes doesn’t work for identify vegetation. Also I have been calculated without pan sharpening with 10 meter resolution. The result of NDVI was same as NDVI of pan sharpening with 2.5 m resolution. I hope you give me more accurate answer.

Hi, I have landsat mage of my study area and have training site datas n want to carryout supervised classification of vegetation type iin that area. As my study area is very small, I delineate my ROI area and create mask of it. I have carried out unsupervised classification by applying mask on my original image and it was classified. HOwever, I am not able to carryout supervised classification with the same process. how can I carryout the suprevised classification please tell me the procedure....

Please help to solve some problems in ENVI EX
1. I am confusing to buy ALOS and SPOT 5 image for the input data of RPC Orthorectification in ENVI EX. The RPC files of these images are provided separately with metadata files. However, input data bar of RPC Orthorectification function has only two areas: one for input satellite image and other for DEM. Does the software can automatically find and read the separated RPC file.
2. Is it possible to use 30m of ASTER GDEM to do orthore...

I want to make a quantitive application in estimating biomass, the multispectral image has been atmospheric corrected (a few pixels have negative value), now I have the following problem in pansharpening:
I am using FLAASH corrected mulispectral image and original monospectral image for pansharpening, no matter which sharpening method I choose, the final image shows some wrong value, especially in red band dense vegetation has negative value.

Dear community,
I have installed ENVI on my 64-bit Win 7. Now, if I want to start ENVI (64 or 32 bit, in both cases without IDL) or ENVI Zoom the system gives me following error message:
File not found or not a valid file: C:\Programme\ITT\IDL71\lib\hook\envi.sav (or rather ...\envizoom.sav)
I have already tried to open the envi.sav file in the above shown folder manually. In the case of envi.sav it openes, but a click to envizoom.sav gives the following error message:

I have been trying to Calibrate Landsat 5 Images, but keep getting an Error Message:
ENVI Error
An error was caught in the main event handler.
Error: Tag name BAND is undefined for structure
I get the message after entering all the data I´m suposed to enter
(The route for this would be: Basic Tools > Preprocessing > Calibration Utilities > Landsat TM)

I'm sabber from Bangladesh having a problem in Target detection. Whenever i want to detect any mineral using spectral libray(same libray for all mineral) with different methods (ACE, CEM etc) every mineral shows always same area. Every and each time all minerals shows the same Region of Interest (ROI). But it is not possible. I think its related to Rule threshold of Step 7 of target detection wizard. Whenever i change the value , ROI also changes. Can anybody please help me how ...

I hade a problem resizing an image from 7420x6929 to 8161x7121 every time I do this it change the spatial resolution to 27. xx somthing of the image how can a do it, with out changing my spatial resolution of 30m.

Okay, I'm not the most ENVI savvy person, so this might be a dumb question. I'm trying to output a vector file (ArcMAP .shp) to a DXF for use with a different program. I see in the ENVI ouput summary that this is possible, but I can't figure out how to do it. Can someone just walk me through it real quick I'm sure I'm just not seeing the correct option in save as or export or something.

Hi,
I already run supervised and unsupervised classification for 6 Landsat Images. Now I want to do the acurracy assessment using high resolution Google images, I read about taking random points to do the confusion matrix but I don't know how to select those points on my original Landsat image. I tried the tool from post-classification "Generate Random Sample" but I don't know which ROIs should I select.
Any help PLEASE!
