Extracting individual pixels from an ROI 1053 0

Hi,
I need to extract the individual pixels from an ROI to an ASCII file for further processing. It would also need to loop through multiple files and print their pixel values too.
This is my current code but I can't seem to get ENVI_GET_ROI_DATA to work. Any help would be much appreciated.

Replacing Bad Line 1312 1

I am using Landsat MSS data downloaded from USGS website. The image has many bad line running from left to right, throughout the image. The lines are not exactly horzontal but slightly tilted.
Could you please suggest me how to replace these lines by taking average of line above and below these bad lines.
I am using Envi 4.5.
I tried using replace bad line option but it asks for line number to be replaced. The problem is the bad lines keep on changing when we move from left to right....

When i am going for spatial subset of Hyperion image (Original Image or Atmospherically corrected using FLAASH) ENVI is asking for resampling of the data. Which deteorate my data as Hyperions spatial resolution is 30 m. How I can spatially subset data without resampling

I have applied Atmospheric correction to Hyperion image. Now the corrected image contains negative values. How it can be removed Recentaly I have applied ICA, in ICA output image most of the pixels also contains negative values. How we can solve this problem

how to put threshold for rule classifier? 1075 1

Dear all,
I have problem for rule classification.well in there we should inter a threshold for each class but what is the suitable value
I tried first to put the angle in the SAM calssification and then by checking the pre material values in the rule images which was zero for all pure materials and put the max to zero but it does not work.
I would be happy to have any guidance over that.

Hi all,
I can't open CORINE landcover rasterdata (http://www.eea.europa.eu/data-and-maps/data/corine-land-cover-2006-raster) in envi because the correct datum for the map projection is missing.
I tried to build a new datum European Terrestrial Reference System 1989 ETRS1989 for the Lambert azimuthal equal area coordinate reference system

Hi all,
How (via code) can I change the color/name values of an existing ROI If the ROI has to be redefined and created, how can I get the xpts/ypts for the existing ROI
After talking to tech support, the answer is 'you can't'. The current option is to create a new roi with the colors/names redefined. Unfortunately, the xpts/ypts for polygons are unrecoverable so, the simplest option is to create the new roi as a set of all points in the original roi.

i used envi software to get the ndvi of my landsat image, I clicked on transform ndvi, then in my output result i chose file then in the output data i clicked on floating point, is that correct when i displayed the ndvi image i got a grayscale image, is that right if so, how do i find the ndvi values of the pixels that ranges from -1 to 1 so that i ll be able to know if its vegetated or not. anyone please i need the answer asap thanks

problem with the scroll window in envi 1287 0

Hi,
I am having a strange problem with the scroll window of envi. When I want to maximize it, it first becomes tiny and goes to one corner and then after about 10-20 secs it maximizes. Then when I want to link two windows that also takes about 20 secs before the link window opens up. It was not doing this before. Does it have to do something with the memory of my laptop. I am running envi on a 64 bit Windows 7 operating system with 4GB RAM. Any kind of suggestions will of great help.

I am trying to orthorectify IKONOS image. Hello,
I'd like to export .img (binary) files to ArcView raster (.bil). I can do this successfully in the GUI w/ File>Save As>Arc View Raster however I need to batch it.
My script 'works' except the output is long integer rather than byte (the binary is float-- I don't know why envi converts it to long integer). The GUI gives me this selection option (for byte, long etc) but the key word data_type isn't accepted for the function envi_output_external_format

I mean "Area-based image matching" used NCC LSM or which one method to calculate
and which method used in "Feature-based image matching" just can saw the progress show some about DoG....

The image of the right is a histogram of a NITF file loaded with a 1 band image (using 12-bit jpeg2000 compression, or C8)
The image of the left is a histogram of the JPEG file that was saved from the loaded NITF file (using ENVI of course)
I was wondering what kind of algorithm does ENVI apply to the 12-bit image to properly reduce it to 8-bit
Obviously it is more than just division by 16. Thoughts I would like to be able to use this technique.

Dear all
I'm searching for a function that allow me to calculate an image containing the Minimum and (separately) Maximum from a multiband image.
What I need is to obtain an image where for each pixel correspond the Minimum DN of the vertical pixels of stacked layers composing an image. The same for the Maximum.
In the menu Basic Tools > Statistics > Sum Data Bands are available different interesting outputs but not the Min & Max .
Someone can help me Any solution using the Band...

I am trying to use some of the tools of ENVI 4.7 in ENVI Zoom, but cannot show up the ENVI Favorites folder in the Toolbox window... Is that a license problem or it's just something about settings thanks a lot!
