I want to reproject to UTM, WGS 84, Zone 43.
Could someone help me, please....................

problems in FLAASH and MODIS 1437 6
Started by Deleted User
I am a student from China, now I have some problems in dealing with FLAASH.
I want to correct a MODIS image by FLAASH model,
The data is produced by "MODIS Converse Toolkit", I think the input data is no problem,
It is always get an error.
"ACC error: lsmooth2:
&160;IDL error:
&160;ACC_LSMOOTH2: Cannot continue with smoothing calculation

But I can setting "use adjacency correction" NO , this error will be fine. What should I do
And I ha...

ENVI_CONVERT_FILE_COORDINATES 1263 1
Started by Deleted User
Hello!
I'm working with ENVI/IDL.
When I try to convert map coordinates to their corresponding x,y pixel coordinates, after doing the instruction:
ENVI_CONVERT_FILE_COORDINATES, fid_tiff_B, gcp_x, gcp_y, gcp_mapX, gcp_mapY
the variable gcp_x&160; takes negative values... It could be possible
How can this problem be solved
Cheers,
Sara

I have over 100 Landsat images that I am beginning to work with.&160; Since all of the imagery available through Glovis is in GeoTIFF I find myself in a bit of a pickle.&160; The calibration utility within ENVI is especially useful when it automatically enters the calibration values.&160; NLAPS work well by entering all bands at once.&160; When I calibrate GeoTIFF files it needs to be done one layer at a time then subequently stacked.&160; Is there something that I am missing in the sense t...

Registration difference after FLAASH 1538 5
Started by Deleted User
Hello,
I am experiencing a problem with registration after applying FLAASH atmospheric correction to my set of TM and ETM images. I have a process for warping images to a single base image. After I process that automatic registration, I then apply FLAASH to the warped images. The problem is, however, after I apply FLAASH to the warped image, the registration between warped and the base image are no longer consistant.
My questions are these:
Why is there a registration difference after a...

ROI *.img header file question. 1250 0
Started by Deleted User
I just began on a project recently with an established code base. Currently, one of the procedures in the spotlight at the moment is one which creates a lat long mask, a region of interest, specified by the user. Here is my issue.
The envi calls used to create this mask are ENVI_CREATE_ROI, ENVI_DEFINE_ROI, ENVI_SAVE_ROIS, ENVI_GET_ROI, ENVI_GET_ROI_DATA, and the ENVI_ROI_TO_IMAGE_DOIT functions. These create a mask and a header file just fine, except for one issue. We would like to use a .25 d...

Sending more than one results to the Available Bands List Window 1201 1
Started by Deleted User
Can somebody help me please I have successfully written three separate IDL functions that calculate NDVI, PRI, NDRE and they all work perfectly, however I would like to incorporate all these separate function into one. When trying to do this the function only sends the results of one computation to the Available Bands List Window. How can I make sure that all three (NDVI, NDRE and PRI) are sent to the Bands List Window.

I&160;supose that&160;I have to define a hyperspectral channel definition&160;file with the channel I want to use in the aerosol correction only:

Band Ratios 1200 2
Started by Deleted User
I have written a simple function to do a band ratios with the aim of expanding it.
function RedEdgeModel, b1, b2
result = float(b1/b2)
return, result
END
The problem I have with this code is the result is an image made up of zeros (black) what could be wrong with my code because when I use the band ratios in ENVI-TRANSFORMATION-BAND RATIOS everything work okay.

Hi: Sorry fer my delayed reply.
I tried your recommendations without success. I am going to explain the procedure in more detail.
1. Downloaded L3 MODIS K490 images(4Km).
2. Open&160; it in ENVI 4.4, it is an HDF dataset
3. Use a ROI to make a spatial subset of the global image. Load the Image. Save Image as (tried: ENVI, ERDAS, GEOTIFF, etc.)
4. Open ArcMap 9.3. Load image (warning of unknown spatial reference appears). Load shapefile (data in State PLane NAD 83 or I use another shapefile...

Enhanced PCT images as input to Maximum Likelihood 1243 0

Hi everyone!
I have been looking in literature if anyone has actually done gaussian stretch to PCT images or other derivatives of original image data (textural images like ASM, for example) not just for visual enhancement but also as spectral&160;transformations to further enhance the information in the data to which ML would be applied. I was assuming this would create more distinct information classes from ROIs and also improve the separability measures from the ROIs.
I would really appreci...
