Mosaicing - color variation, orthorectification 1364 1

I am new user of ENVI using 4.7 version.
1. While performing Mosaicing (Geo-referenced) of 16 different satellite images (LIS-III). The final output has first 7 images in a darker shade than normal. The rest 9 images are fine. The Mosaicing is done correctly but the color variation is seen. How to fix this What maybe the reason (All images have been layer stacked the same way)
2. Is there anyway to build RPC's without fiducial Points because i don't have camera calibration report nor do i ...

Hi All,
Kindly, could anyone let me know:
1. How can I isolate the only vegetative cover from the whole NDVI image, and how to convert all other features (not vegetation) into a black color using the thresholding value (>0 is vegetation) in ENVI 4.8
2. How can I convert the resultant image (the isolated vegetative cover) with the real NDVI DN values into an ESRI shape file using ENVI 4.8

I am trying to do atmospheric corrections of Hyperion data after converting Hyperion data in ENVI format using Hyperion Tools. I am getting the following message:

I'm having a real problem getting my DEM to work in ENVI. I had a .dem which I made with the latticedem tool in ArcInfo Workstation from a grid file. It worked until it suddenly became corrupted and I had to try to make a new one. I'm having licensing conflicts with ArcInfo Workstation now and was wondering if there is any other source for a DEM that ENVI doesn't have problems with. I've tried converting the DEM to tiff but keep receiving the same error that the image and the DEM do not overlap ...

My density slicing image is showing multiple colors ... so many ranges. How should I come to know my particular mineral range image is showing min(-3391) and max(1756) data range. How do i define my single mineral value (bringt portion)

Hi,everyone: I am now processing TRMM 1B11 data which has about 3000 scans per orbit and 104 observations per scan. So the DN array is always 3000*104. To build a glt for whole HDF is time-consuming, so I just want to build glt for my interested area. I know the line and sample in the HDF file. In ENVI 5, I've been able to view attributes, select a record and see the associated vector, and color-code the vectors based on an attribute. Can I do a SQL query of a vector attribute table This was possible in earlier versions of ENVI, and is pretty critical for my users.

Hi,
I'm trying to read spectral signature from my Hydrothermal RGB (tool-profile-z profile). Its giving value X- axis band number and on Y- axis value (0.8 to1.8) . The graph is showing almost same pattern everywhere on image (using ETM). plz help me to read (collect) correct value and method.

I am working with ENVI ZOOM 4.5. When i was open or load the image it showed in layers list but it did not display in the display view. Hence i could not do feature extraction by selecting examples. Can you give me advice to eliminate this problem.

Arcmap raster and ENVI HDF Raster issues 1578 5

I have a interpolated raster in Arcmap that I want to clip to a landsat.hdf file and then bring the clipped file into ENVI so i can run some processes..
I tried reprojecting the arcmap raster so that its the same as the landsat.hdf file in Arc but the landsat is smaller than the Arc raster but in reality it is not. ENVI says the Landsat hdf is UTM 15N WGS1984 but Arc says its undefined.
What is the best way to go about this
I'm using Arcmap 10 and ENVI 4.8

I'm trying to install ENVI 4.8 on a Win7 desktop and keep getting an error that reads "The installation of MSVC_SP1_x86 has failed. Setup will now exit." I've tried running as administrator, no joy. Based on the name, it looks like a Visual C runtime, but I'm not sure what to do about the error :(
Has anyone else seen anything like this
