Hi
I am trying
to use the FLAASH module on Worldview-2 and it shows the following error “ACC
error: avrd: No nonblanck pixels found”. The tile size in the FLAASH advanced
parameters is 100 and when is increased to 200 its exit in same way.
What can I
do

Hi,
I'm doing change detection from two unsupervised classification images. I can see the differences in their class statistics but when I use the change detection tool it shows me NO change in the classes.
Any idea why

I am trying to do an atmospheric correction of WV-2 images with FLAASH.
1.-I convert the WV-2
data from DN to radiance using Worldview radiance tool in Envi 4.8. I specify the output to floating point.
2.- I convert to BIL
format

I am running "Interferogram to Phase Unwrapping" in the "Interferometry" menu followed by "refinement and reflattening." The Refinement and reflattening steps requires a "Orbital GCP file" input. Sometimes the "Interferogram to Phase unwrapping" produces a file that ends with "fake_gcp.xml" and seems to be suitable for the Refinement "Orbital GCP" file. However, sometimes this file is not produced. Any idea how to make this...

I have successfully created a DEM using a pair of COMO SKYMed image and SARScape. I used the "Interferogram to Phase Unwrapping" in the "Interferometry" menu (followed by "refinement and reflattening" and "Phase to height conversion"). I have done this for full image scenes. I am trying to import two ERS-2 (AMI/SAR/IMAGE MODE) images in ENVI. The images seem to open but there is problem with their georeference and their coregister.Any helpful in bullets on how to proceed to the first processing steps of such kind of images woud be really appreciated.

I need help to calculate Zenith and Azimuth Angles in FLAASH for Worldview2. In my metadata file I have this information:
meanSunAz = 153.5;
meanSunEl = 44.6;
meanSatAz = 110.3;
meanSatEl = 78.3;
meanInTrackViewAngle
= -1.9;
meanCrossTrackViewAngle
= 10.2;
meanOffNadirViewAngle
= 10.3;
Which values should I
use in the Flaash module and how can I calculate them

hi, I am using ENVI 4.8 and i'm trying to do something here...
I have a Surface reflectance(SR) image which has clouds in it
I have one hdf file with 3 bands in it which are clouds data...
I have a mosaic of the SR and 3 cloud bands.... cloud values of 1 and non cloud values of 0.
I need to create an ROI where surface reflectance clouds are NOT present (i.e., equal to 1) and using THAT as a mask to mask that out of the SR Image.
Is there an easy way of going about this I been reading...

Myself along with a few peers are new to ENVI and we've only been using it for a few days. We need to process LiDAR data. We've already obtained the BCAL LiDAR plugin for our usage. Our goal is to get the Unsupervised Classification methods working on our .LAS LiDAR files. using KT aerosol retrieval then KT upper and KT lower channels must be defined”.
Recommended
wavelength for channel definition are: KT upper (2100-2250 nm) and KT lower

Hi all,
Does anyone know how to get the area of a polygon in ENVI 5.0 This used to be very easy in ENVI Classic. The "mensuration" tool only seems to want to give me line lengths for a polyline but not areas for a polygon.

I am trying to perform batch processing in ENVI using band math. The input is a 7-band file of MODIS reflectance data which have been converted from hdf to bsq. The data type is integer.
I want to compute a normalized difference ratio using MODIS bands 2 and 6. I know that, in order to get bands 2 and 6, the POS syntax should refer to &911,5&93. I've modified some code from another program (which works fine).

Hello,
Maybe I'm missing something here, but when I try to collect seed points within the Image Registration Workflow, but I cannot use the zoom tools to select the second point on the non-georeferenced image. I want to zoom in to the point I want to select but then it doesn't let me get back to create that point.
Wouldn't it be easier to just have the images side-by-side to select points, like in ENVI 'classic'
My initial excitement about the new ENVI interface is slowly fading, as I'm more...

Hi, I am having a few issues with the DEM extraction wizard. The wizard goes through the full process on building epipolar images, generating parallax etc but fails right at the end of the process quoting the error...
'Point_LUN: Negative position argument not allowed. Position -8589911624, Unit: 100'
i have checked the location of the output filename and all is present and correct with sufficient disk space and am now fresh out of ideas!

I am writing to mention a problem I have encountered when trying to vectorize a binary image of segments (georeferenced). The problem occurring is that ENVI is vectorizing both the internal size of the binary image and the external one. In this way the 1 pixel edge image is converted 2 vector polygon. Is there a way to specify to ENVI (or IDL) to only vectorize the outer boundary of the binary image
