Horizontal spectral average for an entire image 1472 1

Hey,
Is there an easy way to get a Horizontal Spectral Profile that shows the average value for the entire image. So instead of the X Profile of a specific line that Profies > X Profile.. tool provides it would be the average value for the entire image.
This would be used to calculate the spectral smile in Hyperion images from MNF rotations, without having to export the image to ASCII and calulating the averages in Excel.

Atmor.corr. using ENVI FLAASH on QB image 1548 1

Currently im using the FLAASH on QB image for atmos.corr. However im getting either an error or a whole blank zero values results. My main purpose is to do the benthic mapping by using the QB image.

Hi, I am a new Envi user and I am trying to reduce file size of L7 after filling the gaps. I found some notes to do that using band math , but I am not sure if I did it right. I used the expresion fix(b1) to convert my image to integer. Is that correct What expression should I use to convert it to an unsigned 8 bit

I have Landsat TM image and I am trying to perform linear spectral unmixing on it. The image is about 9 degrees oriented and therefore a dark background is also shown in the image display. When i try unmixing the image, I encounter a number of problems. First, MNF transform curve indicates image dimensionality as only two. hello
I am not very familiar to Envi program, but I noticed that when I open an image the Envi displays it with some changes in DNs, I tested it for simple bitmap images and again it did the same, I want to know if there is a setting for this issues or not
and I have another question about striping artifact in Modis sensor, I like to know if Envi can remove this artifact or is there any sample code in IDL for removing this artifact

I'm working with MTBS images that have been converted to byte format by multiplying the calculated reflectance by 400.
When I convert back to reflectance (floating point) is there a loss of data

I've a problem using ENVI that I hope you can help me to solve. How can I use a 1000 points shapefile for classification within ENVI without dissolving those points by attribute to obtain 8 ROI's (1 per land cover category)

I am wondering if anyone can help me with my problem. I have created a hyperspectral cube of dimension (601,300,24). Here 601 rows are wavebands, 300 is the number of samples and 24 are the number of slices that I have. I have created this using matlab and then also created a ENVI readable file and also changed the dimension to (24, 601,300). Now when I try to upload the file as an image file in ENVI I fill out the header info as follows
