ENVI´s FLAASH parameters 1789 5

Hi, I have some questions about these FLAASH parameters:
1) In "Advanced Settings" -> "For non-nadir Looking Instruments". I have SPOT5 images: need I to edit the angles or keep the defaults also, which label in the .DIM file gives me the Zenith and Azimuth angle
2) In "Multispectral Settings" -> Kaufman-Tanre Aerosol Retrieval. Which Upper & Lower Channel should I put for SPOT5 images

hi, does Envi 4.4 have such a function:
user inputs the co-ordinates for, say, 10 pixels, from which he wants to extract the pixel values. Envi then exports these 10 values to an output file.

Hello,
I am new to ENVI and am curious as to whether ENVI (a) can accomplish what I need, and (b) can do it automatically/programmatically.
My application is that I have two overhead ENVI aerial images that are taken of a general area (image areas overlap), but they can differ in the angle with respect to nadir they were taken. I've been trying to install the evaluation version of ENVI 4.7 on Windows 7 32bit. On two different machines I've had the same issues: The program installs fine until it gets to the the 'Publishing Product Information' part. Then it freezes for several minutes and finally reports the following error:
'Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {1E507087-0819-45E0-A01F-C8B3B9A1E18E}. HRESULT: 0x800736FD'

Hi, I&180;m new and need to correct two TIFF images (PAN & multispectral of the same image) with ENVI 4.5 FLAASH module.
Please correct me when I get wrong:
First, I open the metadata.dim multispectral file with ENVI. (need I to merge PAN & multi images to correct them)
Then, basic tools->Convert Data (BIL, BIP, BSQ) and I get a file.BIP
Basic Tools->Preprocessing->Calibration Utilities->FLAASH

Hi there,
I'm having a problem processing MODIS images in ENVI. I'm trying to write a script that will mask a MODIS file, then change the projection from the sinusoidal MODIS projection to lat/long. I can't get ENVI_CONVERT_FILE_MAP_PROJECTION to work, though. I keep getting a vague error:
'reg_warp_doit: An error has occurred during processing
Error: "Array dimensions must be greater than 0." The result may be invalid'

I have a hyperspectral image. I would like to find the first and second derivative of every band to do some analyses. Is there any way to do this is ENVI I'm afraid I don't know how to use IDL, but if someone has some code I'd give it a shot.

Greetings all
At my research group we are planning to acquire ENVI. One of the major criteria, defined by the COTS analysis team, is the translation of EO COTS.
What I wanted to know is:
1- Does ENVI distributed with multiple languages pack
2- If not, is it possible to easily translate ENVI functions and even IDL development interfaces/modules added to the ENVI

Hi everyone,
I am writing an essay based on ENVI feature extraction tool. About the references, I am searching which kind of algorithm ENVI uses to segment images. I know that the "merging segments" is based on the work from Robinson, Redding and Crisps from 2002 but I do not know how ENVI extract the segments in the previous step.
Does anyone know the references about the first segmentation step

An earlier post (by area_51) was very helpful in describing the use of conditional statements in band math. I have a follow-on question that I hope someone can address. Using this earlier post as an example, I expanded this to produce -999 as a background, and to calculate a more complex expression for my non-background values:
exp = '(b1 le 0) * (-999) (b1 gt 0 )*(float(b2) float(b1))'
This works great -&160; I can add/multiply/subtract those bands in the expression for my non-background...

Hi everyone,
I am trying to run FLAASH on a CASI image (72 bands, 2-byte unsigned int. BIL) but I keep receiving an error message and the routine quits without completing the processing. I am using the following parameters:
Sensor type Unknown-HSI
No water or aerosol retrieval
No spectral polishing
No wavelength recalibration
No tiled processing
Single scale factor for all bands (1.0000)
Set FWHM to band spacing
and each time I attempt to run FLAASH I get the followi...

I have a 12-layer MODIS image stack, and I have a NDVI image from Landsat. I tried to sharpen the MODIS image to 30m. I used PC spectral sharpening. I got this error messge:
envi_pc_sharpen_doit: An error has occurred during processing
Error: "TRIQL: Too many iterations in tqli." The result may be invalid
I tried 6-layer stack and 3-layer stack, and got the same error messages.
I'll very appreciate any help. Thanks!
