Moon projection 1732 0
Started by Deleted User
hi,
&160;&160;&160;&160;&160;&160; Is there any projection system&160; in ENVI for the lunar images . i want to do projection for the lunar image obtained from Clementine mission. I am having the four corner coordinates of each image, but if i create sinusoidal projection with radius 1737400.00 it is not upto the mark. Suggest me how to do a perfect lunar projection.
&160;
&160;&160;&160;&160;&160; ENVI will come up with Lunar projection module

georeferencing MODIS L1b ENVI Batch mode 1118 0
Started by Deleted User
Hi all, I am seriously hoping someone out there can help me with
this . &160;I am trying to georeference MODIS L1B hdf files using envi
batch mode. I found a bit about this on the net (particularly the
Ocean Color forums and in here for other instruments) and have tried to emulate their method, although as they wern't using L1B, I think I am encountering some sort of additional issue.
What I have so far is pasted below. This actually does output a
georeferenced-looking file,...

Positive reflectance values with FLAASH 1223 2
Started by Deleted User
Hi,
is it possible to get positive values of reflectance after FLAASH atmospheric correction for ASTER data
I understand that the inverse case is possible when low radiance values are present in the scene.
I'm working over glacier surface so I presume that the sensor could be saturated with fresh snow.
Thank you all.

Georeferencing 955 1
Started by Deleted User
Hi,
I'm only a beginner and I have no idea how I can see the difference between a georeferenced and non-georeferenced image. I have two images 1 from 1988 and the other one is from 1997.
I looked at the map info, but no idea where I’m looking at..
Could someone please help me.
Cheers,
Milou

set projection 1123 0
Started by Deleted User
Dear all,
I have a field spectrometer data for urban features, I had finished established the spectral library for the each feature and mean all the spectral.
However the data still not have the right projection yet. Referring to this problem, how I will set the projection to that data and how I will use that data in establishing the training area
I had tried to set by using edit envi header but its not working. Field spectrometer data in vector format, do I need rasterizing the data first...

QB Tiled images not appearing in ENVI Orthorectification Layout manager 1158 0
Started by Deleted User
&160;
We are running a trial of the ENVI rigorous orthorectification module.
Adding images (QB tiled products) results in showing the image file names and dem file name in the Orthorectification Wizard but not in the Layout manager, appears although the adding input images dialog will end normally reporting OK for the two images.
If we continue the process without GCPs, Tie Points, in step 4 the error of not recognizing images will appear :

How to reduce decimal points in my raster? 1218 0
Started by Deleted User
Guys,
Really need your help. Been stuck with this issue for quite sometimes.
I have raster images (floating, with 7 decimal points e.g value for a pixel is 34.1234567).
How do i reduce the decimal points to 2 decimal points e.g 34.12.
Is there any ways doing it in ENVI 3.6
Thank you.
Regards.

Hello,
&160;
I have a Themis RDR .Qub file that I have successfully inputted into Envi (without having to use isis). I've run Thermal Atmospheric corrections and, in a separate process, emissivity. the only problem is that the z-profile emissivity is not restricted to the range of 0 - 1, I have values that are negative, and some that range as high as 5.1&160; I've been trying to think of reasons f...

Dear all
&160;
Can anyone offer me some advice on how to perform topographic corrections on ENVI 4.5, so far I have only found that the logaritmc calibration produces some topographic correction over the image but I am looking for something more specific on which I can used the DEM of my study site.

Thank you

ALOS AVNIR2 orthorectification 1645 7
Started by Deleted User
Hello all,
I'm trying to clariy a couple of things about ALOS AVNIR2 scene orthorectification,
1. From the ENVI help someone can read :
The along track incidence angle is the angle (in degrees) between the vertical position of the satellite and its forward or backward viewing direction. If viewed from the ground point corresponding to the scene center, the along track incidence angle has a positive value if the viewing direction is northward.
The across track incidence angle is the angle ...

User interaction, i.e. creating new wizards with IDL 1514 0
Started by Deleted User
All,
I am developing an IDL/ENVI program where I would like to have user interaction through the ROI tool. Basically, the code create a ROI that need to be validated by&160;a user before the code can proceed further.
Is it possible to develop&160;something similar to the wizard tools already in ENVI Otherwise, is it possible to pause the execution of an IDL code while the user update the ROI
Thanks,
Vince

LANDSAT atmospheric correction 1076 1

Dear all,
I am trying to atmospherically correct LANDSAT5 TM and ETM images for a underwater and land cover mapping . I have 2 questions and hopefully someone can give me a light.
1) For TM, I am able to calibrate it and even run the atmospheric correction in flaash module. Nonetheless, as I understand the resulting file should be without units and between 0 and 1 (reflectance) but this is not the case.
2) For the ETM image, I can not even run the calibration. I edit the hea...

ENVI batch - input/output folders 1350 0
Started by Deleted User
I would like to do something incredibly simple using ENVI batch but cannot find an example and everything I try does not work.
I would like to process all files in a folder, without needing to specify any part of the filename and then following processing steps I would like to output them all to a different folder without having to change their filenames.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!
