ERROR: ACTIVATION_ID_NO_INCREASE

This error can occur when activating a license on a license server. It may look similar to the following:

------------------------------------------

Failed to activate ****-****-****-XXXX on server localhost
{
  "items" : [ {
    "category" : "PUBLIC",
    "code" : 61,
    "detail" : "****-****-****-XXXX",
    "status" : "ACTIVATION_ID_NO_INCREASE"
  } ]
}

------------------------------------------

CAUSE: This error can occur when attempting to activate a server license that has expired from Maintenance. While most of our licenses are perpetual, an active Maintenance contract is required to transfer the license between servers or to make licensing changes on your existing server.

SOLUTION: Please contact your license administrator to resolve this issue. If you are the license administrator, please contact your Harris Maintenance representative.
