I&180;ve a problem with Atmospheric Corrections. I&180;m working with Landsat TM with date 24-11-2009,
All paramethers are correct, and the Window error is like this:

hi,
&160;&160;&160;&160;&160;&160; I recently downloaded a PDS image (.img, .dtm) format with all supporting pds files, but when i load it in envi it can't able to retrieve the map projections, it just displays the image.
&160; &160;&160; Now-a-days there are more pds images available but envi doesn't support in obtaining the projection details while loading the pds image. Suggest me how to load PDS image along with map projected.&160;

Hello there,
I would like to calculate the occurrence measure of variance (lets say by 3x3 window) but only within the specified area, without considering the masked-off pixels. The ENVI's built-in option provides the edges with the extremely higher variance values because of the consideration of masked-off pixels.

Hello!
I have 6 date landuse classification results and want to combine them into single map (showing no change, vegetation to non-vegetation, and so on). Each classification contains 6 broad classes (same code and same sequence).
Is there any way to do this in ENVI 4.5. I have done this in GIS but I had only two date raster layers which I have converted to vector format, union two vector polygons and then queried each combination.
It seems difficult this way with 6 diffrent raster layers.......

Hi everyone. We are new to the ENVI product line and had a quick question. After we are done orthorectifing our satellite image(s)..we wanted to 'export'&160; those images dem to create a 3d web 'virtual' model.
Could anybody suggest the 'best' software package to use if we wanted to export these items from ENVI via a 'output' file type and load seemlessly into a .vrml creator type program or similiar

orthorectify without RPC 2537 8

Hello,
I have an IKONOS image that was gereferenced BUT NOT orthorectified. I have a 30m DEM that corresponds to my image area but I don't have the RPC file. The IKONOS vendor told me he cannot give me the RPC data file because I did not order it at the time I ordered the images.
Is there any way to orthorectify the IKONOS image without RPC or ground control

Hello all,
I have a problem and I'm not sure that ENVI the capability to do this, although I would think it should. I have a binary file that I created in IDL from a satellite product that I want to georeference in ENVI. I also have a lat and lon ascii file which has the location of every grid point in my image file. I want to know if there is a fairly easy way to georeference this image file based on the lat/lon files I have.

I&180;ve seen various posts talking about scale factors, but still I don&180;t know where I could obtain this information (My image is Landsat7).
Also, there&180;s a calibration utility in Basic Tools -> Preprocessing (Envi 4.5). I load my Tiff image and don&180;t know what to put in the next fields:
- Data Acquisition Band.
- Scale Min/Max.
- &191;Get Calibration Parameters from Web (data acquisition path row band)
Finally, what will I obtain how can I use it in FLAASH when loadi...

What is the exact procedure of Landsat TM (ETM) images processing downloaded from the USGS in ENVI 4.6 I was trying to: 1) assigh the wave lenghts, gains ,offset valus via the header editor, 2) use the Basic tools - Preprocesing - Calibration utilities - Landsat TM, 3)stack the single bands and convert to BIL for further processing. But I got negative values in area where should be no data/0 values - edge of the image (where the original images with DN are 0). Thanks for help.

What happened to Goode's Homolosine projection? 1622 1

Our department just upgraded from ENVI 4.4 to ENVI 4.7, and somewhere along the way, we seem to have lost the Goode's Homolosine map projection. It is not available in the map projections list, and old files that were in that projection, when opened in ENVI 4.7, now appear as having an 'Arbitrary (Map Based)' projection. Was the removal of this projection intentional Or do I possibly have a corrupted installation (using Mac OSX version)

Converting Raster to Vector 3349 9

Hi guys and girls, I'm having a bit of an issue with ENVI, I have created a raster file of varying angles to look at glacial direction over a period of time. I want to convert this to a vector file and import it into ArcGIS, however when I go to the convertion part ENVI asks for a DN value, I don't know what this is, how can I find out what this is Without knowing it won't let me create the vector file I need.
